Nature, travel and adventure photographer Mark Laverman recently submitted a photo that he took of a quintessential Flagstaff, Arizona sunrise.

“This is a view of the San Francisco Peak north of Flagstaff that my wife and I had out of our tent at sunrise late last summer after a great monsoon season,” says Laverman, who is president of the Phoenix Camera Club — a collective of photography enthusiasts that is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. “I am so happy that the rains have come early and put out the terribly devastating fires there this year.”
