Tucson-based real estate photographer Eric Jewett recently submitted a photo that he took of Rose Canyon Lake. Nestled in the hills of Mt. Lemmon, the setting is a shining respite from the arid cityscape below.
“I brought a friend from out of state who is an avid fisherman,” says Jewett, who, when he is not working, loves to photograph people, landscapes, cities, cars and more. “We found the lake relatively empty, picked a spot and let the time go.”
“As the sun set, our endless blue sky gave way to billowy, yellow, pink and purple clouds. I climbed up the hill and set up my tripod. This was the last photograph I took before heading up the mountain to Windy Point to enjoy the city lights.”
