Anthem will host its 22nd annual Independence Day celebration Sunday, July 3. A grand fireworks display will cap off the event, which will also feature dry rides, inflatables, water slides, music, a beer garden and a variety of food vendors.

Families may bring their own blankets and lawn chairs on which they can enjoy the fun-filled event. About 15,000 people are estimated to attend the celebration, making it the largest annual event hosted at the Anthem Community Park.

Anthem resident Carisa Frisby will sing the National Anthem immediately prior to the 9 p.m. fireworks display, which will be about 20 minutes long.
