Who We Are
The Magazine
Since 1999, Images Arizona has been the magazine of Arizona’s Desert Foothills — bringing North Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, and Anthem the kind of seriously edited arts and lifestyle coverage most regional publications reserve for major metro markets. We publish photography, profiles, cultural criticism, and feature stories about the people and places that define the Desert Foothills — seriously edited, professionally produced, and delivered directly to homes across the region.
The magazine is arts-driven by design. Not every regional publication treats the visual arts, performing arts, architecture, and music as a primary beat. We do, and always have. The rest of our editorial — dining features, style and design coverage, travel, and film criticism — is held to the same standard. We don’t aggregate; we report, photograph, and edit.
Each issue, 40,000 copies go directly to households in the region’s most established communities. Our three regional editions — Anthem, Carefree/Cave Creek, and North Scottsdale (including Grayhawk and DC Ranch) — allow us to tailor coverage without sacrificing editorial depth. More than 25 years in, we remain a print-first, editorially independent magazine.

Rights and Usage
By submitting, you confirm that you created the work and hold all rights to it. Submitted photos may appear on Images Arizona’s social media channels with photographer credit.
If your photo is selected for print publication, we will contact you to discuss terms, which you may accept or decline. Published photographers retain copyright; by submitting, you grant Images Arizona the right to use your work in the issue in which it appears, in both print and digital formats. Compensation is determined by the Publisher at the time of first use and applies to any subsequent use within the same publication.
Images Arizona will not license your work to other publications without your written consent. If another outlet requests rights to your photos, we will forward the inquiry or direct them to contact you directly. Submitting to Images Arizona does not limit your right to publish the same images elsewhere.
Published photographers may request a print copy of the issue featuring their work or digital tear-sheets of the pages on which their photos appear. Questions? Email images@imagesaz.com.
