Information We Collect

Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address. That address is stored by Mailchimp, our newsletter service provider, and is used only to deliver the Images Arizona newsletter. We do not sell or share subscriber lists.

Photo submissions. If you submit photography for consideration, we receive the photos and any identifying information you include — your name, location details, and the email address from which you wrote. This information is used only to review your work and communicate with you about it.

Direct email contact. If you email us directly, we receive your message and email address. We use that information to respond to you.

We do not operate user accounts, collect payment information, or run advertising networks on this site.

Third-Party Services

Mailchimp. Newsletter subscriptions are managed by Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.). When you subscribe, your email address is transmitted to Mailchimp’s servers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policy at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

Google Fonts. Typography on this site is served by Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser makes a request to Google’s servers. Google may log these requests in accordance with their own data practices.

Issuu. Our digital edition archive is hosted on Issuu. When you view a digital issue, you are interacting with Issuu’s platform. Their practices are governed by issuu.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Spotify. This site links to our podcast on Spotify. Following that link takes you to Spotify’s platform, governed by their own policies.

We link to Instagram and Facebook but do not embed their tracking pixels or widgets on this site.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are standard to WordPress — primarily session cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies. If you use the newsletter signup form, Mailchimp may set its own cookies to manage the subscription process.

Data Retention

Newsletter subscriber records are retained in Mailchimp until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter we send. Photo submissions and correspondence are retained at our discretion for editorial and operational purposes. If you would like your submission or email removed from our records, email us and we will honor that request.

Your Rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can request that we delete correspondence or submission files by emailing us directly. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. We do not anticipate frequent changes — this is a simple site operated by a small editorial team, and our data practices reflect that.
