Boursin Dip with Pistachios and Hot Honey

Writer and Photographer Francine Coles
Three ingredients, five minutes, zero effort — and yet this dip has a way of stopping a party cold. A wheel of Boursin pressed onto a plate, blanketed in salted pistachios and finished with a generous drizzle of hot honey, delivers the kind of sweet-heat-salty combination that turns crackers into vehicles for one more bite. It works as a weeknight snack, an effortless happy-hour offering, or the appetizer you bring when you want people to ask for the recipe.
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 5.4-ounce wheel Boursin cheese, garlic and herb variety
- 1/2 cup roasted salted shelled pistachios, chopped (about 1/4 cup crushed)
- 3–4 tablespoons hot honey
- Crackers or apple slices, for serving
Directions
- Let the Boursin come to room temperature for 15 minutes to soften for easier spreading.
- Choose a serving plate or platter. Use the back of a spoon to press the Boursin into an even layer across the surface.
- Top evenly with the pistachios. Drizzle generously with hot honey.
- Serve immediately with crackers or apple slices. Include a small spreading knife or spoon for easy plating.
