SUMMARY:Help Musical Theatre of Anthem
DESCRIPTION:At the end of 2017\, Musical Theatre of Anthem was informed that their current lease at 42323 N. Vision Way would be raised by 23 percent. This increase would have MTA shutting its doors\, as it was not possible to sustain the cost. The board was unable to renegotiate the lease\, but in February\, MTA identified a space where they could remain open and continue to grow. They will still see a 13 percent increase from their current rate and will be responsible for over $40\,000 in hard costs before the move. MTA has been like a second home to so many young actors and actresses over the past decade. They hope to raise $65\,000 by the beginning of the summer and have set up sponsorship opportunities and a GoFundMe account so that they can continue to provide award-winning theater opportunities. gofundme.com/mtanewhome; musicaltheatreofanthem.org
